Summary

To aggressively promote the sale of parts and service.  Exceptional customer service is your objective. Customer recognition of our total product lines and support services for all makes will be your daily commitment.  The focus of the Parts & Service Sales Representative is to 1) Aggressively cover our existing Case customer base with the emphasis of increasing market share of both Case and Non-Case parts and service sales.  2) Expand our customer base by exploring any and all opportunities through the parts and service product lines. 3) Work congruently with Territory Sales Representative on warranty, extended warranty, and Customer Service Agreements.

 

Job Responsibilities:

§  Maintain up-to-date call records in the company CRM software.  Up-to-date is keeping daily records of calls made, names, phone numbers, email addresses, and all other pertinent customer information.

§  Implement short-term and long-term goals associated with the growth of current customer base as well as new customers.

§  Maintain a sales and service call schedule on all assigned accounts for the purpose of generating sales volume reports as needed for the Corporate Parts & Service Manager.

§  Maintain an up-to-date follow up calendar in CRM to ensure appropriate customer coverage, i.e. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc…

§  Follow a detailed sales plan for efficient coverage of assigned territory and accounts in cooperation with management. 

§  Complete and exceed the appropriate time commitments for all necessary paperwork, i.e. quotes, call reports, expense reports, invoices, etc…

§  Collaborate with all essential team members to ensure an exceptional customer service experience. 

§  Collaborate with Territory Sales, Parts Manager, and Service Manager for joint sales calls as needed.

§  Assist in development, implementation, and distribution of parts and service marketing programs.

§  Follow up on New & Used wholegood sales to ensure a parts & service presence.

§  Address customer complaints with immediacy and seek opportunities for a positive encounter.

§  Employ time management tools to effectively and efficiently meet company and personal initiatives.

§  Attend periodic product training sessions to improve product knowledge and salesmanship abilities.  Meet training goals as established by the company as it pertains to this position.

§  Other duties as assigned consistent with the position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all service calls that come into the store.
  • Manage/Mentor all field service technicians.
  • Coordinate all service calls with field service technicians to ensure efficient and timely coverage that meet customer expectations.
  • Assist field service technicians with up-selling customers for new parts/service/sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with parts dept. to ensure accuracy and efficiency of parts orders on behalf of the field service technicians.
  • Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he/she comes in contact with or converses with.
  • Communicate with rental managers on all repairs to rental fleet with an estimate of repairs.
  • Coordinate and stay in communication with customers on all estimates, repairs, inspections and/or change orders upfront.
  • Assist with in-coming phone calls to store.
  • Open/Close all workorders- internal, customer, warranty
  • Assist Service Manager with all estimates.
  • Monitor machine tracking information(GPS)
  • Assist Rental Manager in tracking PM’s for rental fleet.
  • Monitor field service trucks to ensure that they are properly maintained and done so in a timely manner.
  • Monitor field service trucks for cleanliness inside and out to ensure company standards are met.
  • Fill in for service manager as needed or when they are not available.
  • Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description.
  • Uses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
  • Perform other tasks as required by Service Manager.
  • Assist in handling/communicating customer complaints and concerns and work with the Service Manager to ensure the problem is corrected to the customer and dealership's satisfaction.
  • Treat customers fairly and with honesty.
